Linnea Consumer Health Data Policy

Linnea: Health Companion · Version 1.3 · Effective 29 September 2026 · Arctura Technologies Inc.

This notice supplements the Linnea Privacy Policy. It describes consumer health data practices and the rights provided by laws such as the Washington My Health My Data Act.

1. Consumer health data collected

Linnea may handle wellness profile details (including date of birth, sex, height and weight, and dietary preferences and allergens); daily goals; food, drink, water, medication and supplement logs (including skipped doses); exercise and sleep logs; mood and symptom logs; weight, body measurement, blood pressure, pulse, blood glucose and body temperature logs; photos or voice recordings submitted for logging; daily aggregates and imported workouts and nights of sleep from Apple Health or Health Connect; scores and trends; health records (lab results, visits, medications, allergies, conditions, vaccinations, family history, files and an emergency card), which are encrypted on the device and cannot be read by the service; information logged for managed family members, encrypted the same way; daily summaries and care alerts that the user chooses to share with family members; and inferences returned by requested AI features. Raw Apple Health and Health Connect samples remain on the device and are not collected by the service.

2. Sources

Data comes directly from the user, from Apple Health or Health Connect after device-level permission, from calculations performed by the app, from family members who choose to share with the user, and from service providers that return a requested transcription or AI result.

3. Why it is collected and used

  • Provide the log, score, trend, reminder, plan, and export features requested by the user.
  • Save the user’s entries to Apple Health or Health Connect when the user allows it.
  • Keep the health records the user adds, and share the items, records and care alerts the user chooses with the family members the user chooses.
  • Synchronize records across reinstalls and authorized devices.
  • Generate requested AI-assisted wellness information.
  • Secure, debug, and operate the service and respond to support requests.

Linnea does not use consumer health data for targeted advertising, profiling unrelated to the requested service, or decisions about credit, employment, insurance, housing, or healthcare eligibility.

4. Sharing

Consumer health data is shared only as needed with processors: Supabase for hosting and authentication; OpenAI and Anthropic for user-requested AI or transcription functions; Apple and Google for app-platform, health-platform, push and subscription functions; and scrubbed diagnostic providers when enabled. Health records and information logged for managed family members are never sent to an AI provider. At the user’s direction, the items the user chooses to share are also shown to the family members the user chooses. We may make a legally required disclosure or a safeguarded business transfer. Linnea does not sell consumer health data.

5. Rights

A consumer may request confirmation of collection or sharing, access to the data and a list of third parties or affiliates that received it, correction, withdrawal of consent, or deletion. Deletion requests extend to processors and ordinary backups as required by applicable law. The app also provides direct export and account-deletion controls.

Send a request to privacy@arcturatech.com with “Consumer Health Data Request” in the subject. We may request enough information to verify control of the account. If a request is denied, the response will explain why and how to appeal. Appeal by replying with “Privacy Appeal”; the appeal will be reviewed by a different decision maker where feasible. A Washington resident may contact the Washington Attorney General if an appeal remains unresolved.

The controller is Arctura Technologies Inc., Unit 10, 1338 Wellington Street West, Ottawa, Ontario K1Y 3B7, Canada. Matters for the designated Privacy Officer reach the same address via privacy@arcturatech.com.

6. Consent and changes

Apple Health and Health Connect access is optional and controlled through the device’s permissions; saving entries to them can be turned off in the app. Sharing with family members and care alerts are optional and can be stopped at any time. Optional AI features run only after the user submits a request. Materially different uses require notice and any consent required by law. Updates to this notice will carry a new effective date.
